Your Appointment
Once your appointment is made, you will receive a text and/or email with your appointment details.
Prior to Your Visit
Five days prior to your appointment, you will receive a text message and an email from Piedmont Cancer Institute with a link to access Phreesia, the online portal. Complete your paperwork, upload your documents (insurance cards, prescription cards and photo ID), and confirm your visit. Please do this before arriving at the office. Phreesia is secure, convenient, and simple to use. Please contact us at the number on the text/email if you have any questions or need assistance.
New Patients
Please make sure you have uploaded the following to your Phreesia portal:
- Insurance Cards
- Prescription Cards
- Photo ID
Co-payments or any co-insurance is expected before services are rendered.
Subsequent Visits
Please update any changes in your information including address/contact information and insurance information in the Phreesia online portal.
Occasional Delays
We make every effort to remain on schedule; however, it is sometimes necessary to meet the needs of hospital or emergency patients. We ask for your patience and understanding should your appointment be delayed.
Designate a Key Contact (Friend or Family)
You may want to talk with your family and friends to identify someone who can accompany you to your first visit to, meet your physician, and take notes about treatment options and future visits.
Naturally, you will be anxious during your first few visits, but we are confident you will find our team of physicians, nurses and staff to be your extended family as well. Having one friend or family member accompany you from time to time gives you added support and confidence.
