Welcome Dr. Jay Rhee
Piedmont Cancer Institute would like to welcome board certified Hematologist/Oncologist Jay Rhee, M.D.
We are delighted to announce the newest physician to join our group, Dr. Jay Rhee. Dr. Rhee attended the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor graduating with honors in 1996 with a dual major in Microbiology and Philosophy. He subsequently attended Temple University School of Medicine in Philadelphia, graduating in 2000, Post-graduate training in Internal Medicine at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston in 2003, and a fellowship in Hematology and Medical Oncology at MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston graduating in 2006.
With over 12 years of serving patients, Dr. Rhee was a top physician at Anne Arundel Hematology and Oncology in Annapolis, Maryland. Awards he received included "Top Doc", "Reader's Choice" honors, “What's Up?”, Annapolis, and the Spirit of Compassion Award from Anne Arundel Medical Center. Dr. Rhee has participated in numerous clinical trials including cooperative group, Johns Hopkins affiliated studies, authored multiple articles, press publications, and was the introductory speaker for Cancer Survivors' Day.
