Meet Minesh D. Patel, MD
Dr. Minesh Patel treats patients with all cancer types given his extensive experience in oncology and hematology. He joined Piedmont Cancer Institute after completing his fellowship with MD Anderson at the Orlando campus.
Dr. Patel earned the prestigious position of Chief Fellow while at MD Anderson. He earned summa cum laude at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, where he was a Truman Scholar finalist. He has co-authored numerous publications in scientific journals, abstracts, and poster presentations.
During his free time, Dr. Patel enjoys traveling, cooking, and sports, especially college football. He is married and enjoys spending time with his wife and daughter. Dr. Patel is also fluent in Hindi and Gujarati.
