Rajni Sinha, M.D.
Dr. Rajni Sinha returned to Atlanta and joined the team of physicians at Piedmont Cancer Institute in June 2016. Dr. Sinha graduated from St. George’s Medical School, University of London, United Kingdom in 1999 and served two years in London in internal medicine prior to arriving in the United States. She completed her Internship and Residency at Pennsylvania Hospital, University of Pennsylvania Health System in 2004. She completed her fellowship from Emory University and served as chief fellow of the Hematology/Oncology fellowship program in 2007.
Dr. Sinha served as an Assistant Professor of Hematology and Oncology at Emory University School of Medicine for 6 years and has relocated back to Atlanta from a busy Chattanooga practice. She is a member of the American Hematology Society, Clinical Research Training Institute, which focuses on clinical trial design and implementation. Dr. Sinha also worked as principal investigator of industry sponsored clinical trials and performed investigator initiated trials. With over 12 years experience in Oncology/Hematology, her clinical work focuses on specialized care for patients with solid tumors including Breast cancer, Hepatobiliary/Gastrointestinal and hematological malignancies.
Dr. Sinha is licensed by the State of Georgia and is board-certified in Medical Oncology and Hematology. She is a member of the American Society of Hematology, the American Society of Clinical Oncology, the American College of Physicians and the Royal College of Physicians, London. She has authored or co-authored several journal publications and abstracts in the field of oncology. Dr. Sinha has been a selected speaker during conferences including ASH, ASCO, and the lymphoma/leukemia society.
Dr. Sinha has 2 children, enjoys swimming, biking, gardening, traveling to new destinations, and reading fictional and non-fictional books.
