Dr. Samantha Shams joined Piedmont Cancer Institute following her fellowship at the Moffitt Cancer Center at the University of South Florida.
Dr. Shams' passion for medical sciences, research, and education culminated in a prestigious grant in affiliation with the Harvard Macy Medical Educators Program.
Today, Dr. Shams' focus is on translating her medical knowledge to give patients cutting-edge cancer treatments, while never losing sight of the whole patient. She treats patients with all cancer types given her experience in oncology and hematology.
Dr. Shams' personal interests include cooking, yoga, travel and spending time with family and friends.
Dr Shams is the epitome of a caring physician. She never seems rushed when she is seeing you. Her compassion is immediately evident, yet she never sugar coats her findings. I actually look forward to my appointments.
