About Me: Q&A
Why Oncology?
I chose oncology as a field because of my deep interest in the treatments I encountered while caring for oncology patients across dermatology, cardiology, and ICU settings. I am drawn to the complexity of the disease process and value working in an ever-evolving, research-driven field.
What is the best part of your job?
The best part of my job is supporting patients and their families. I value walking alongside them on their journey - especially during such a difficult time - and find it deeply meaningful to guide and comfort them with compassion and care.
What is it like working with your PCI doctors?
I primarily work with Dr. Assikis and Dr. Amin, both of whom are very kind, insightful and straightforward. I have learned a great deal from them and truly value the teamwork we share in caring for our patient population.
If you could spend the day with anyone dead or alive (no relatives), who would it be and what would you do?
I would choose to spend time with Maya Angelou, as I admire her wisdom, resilience, and ability to connect deeply with others through her words and life experiences.
