Seventh Location Now Open in Johns Creek
Piedmont Cancer Institute Announces Opening of Seventh Location in Johns Creek
Piedmont Cancer Institute (PCI) is pleased to announce the opening of its seventh location in Johns Creek Georgia, January 12, 2026. This expansion reflects PCI's continued commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centered cancer care throughout the Atlanta metropolitan area - while remaining an independent medical practice, not a large healthcare system.
Founded in 1987, Piedmont Cancer Institute has a long-standing history of caring for individuals diagnosed with cancer. Over the past several decades, PCI has expanded its presence to six cities across metro Atlanta, including Atlanta, Fayetteville, Locust Grove, Newnan, Sandy Springs, and Stockbridge. With a team of 19 medical oncologists and 20 advanced practice providers, PCI delivers comprehensive oncology care while maintaining the personalized approach of a private practice.
As an independent, physician-led private practice, PCI offers meaningful cost benefits and improved access to care for patients. Without the administrative layers and facility fees associated with large healthcare systems, PCI is able to deliver high-quality oncology and hematological services at a lower overall cost while reducing delays in treatment. This model allows patients to receive timely, coordinated care closer to home, supported by long-term relationships with their care teams.
At Piedmont Cancer Institute, our vision is to anticipate the future of oncology by expanding into new markets and welcoming additional oncologists, ensuring that advanced, patient-centered care remains accessible and affordable. By staying independent, we are uniquely positioned to adapt quickly, innovate meaningfully, and continue providing world-class cancer care in the communities we serve - today and for generations to come.
Dr. Kyle Kidwell and Dr. Jay Rhee are accepting new patients.
