Dr. W. Perry Ballard recognized as a Top Doctor of Atlanta

Dr. Ballard was voted by his physician peers as one of the best doctors in his specialty of Medical Oncology, excelling not only in academia and research, but most importantly, in patient care.

An Atlanta native, Dr. Ballard graduated from Emory University School of Medicine in 1978. Since his co-establishment of PCI in 1987, Dr. Ballard has been elected to represent the staff on the Piedmont Medical Center Board of Trustees. He has also served as Secretary of the Medical Staff of Piedmont Hospital as well as Chairman of the Cancer Committee. Dr. Ballard is a Diplomat of the American Board of Internal Medicine and is Board Certified in both Hematology and Medical Oncology.
